Dave is a life-long animal lover and has owned and cared for a wide variety of pets including cats, dogs, birds, lizards, fish, snakes and turtles. He started his career as a veterinary technician and later got into the medical field where he worked as a medical assistant and x-ray technician.

Later, he returned to his love for animals and wildlife and worked as a park naturalist, educating and giving demonstrations to the public about local wildlife and their habitats.

Dave thought about starting a pet sitting business many times over the years, but the timing was never right. Finally in 2010, all the pieces fell together and he opened his business: Nature Calls Pet Sitting LLC.

Dave’s veterinary and medical background gives him a big advantage over other pet sitters. If your pet requires medications or injections, he can handle it with ease—giving you peace of mind. And, because he has cared for a wide range of animals, he has the knowledge and ability to care for any pet, including exotics.

We strive to be a helping hand to you, and a best friend to your pets. We give them lots of love and attention, so you can rest assured that your pets are happy, and well cared for in your absence.
